Working In Partnership

We work in a collaborative partnership with several professionals and professional organisations in order to maintain the best possible service provision which is in accordance with expectation and need. The variety of collaborative organisations we work with include the NHS trusts and local authorities and the Regulation Quality Improvement Authority. Our aim is that every individual we care for has access to opportunities to achieve the best outcome and quality of life. We ensure our experience and expertise is incorporated into the investment of building and developing long lasting relationships which can create innovative and effective solutions such as evolving this existing service.

Admission Process

Admissions to the service are agreed following a robust pre-admission process and the criteria applied will be for adults with learning disability with behaviours that challenge and have been assessed by the relevant trust professionals as requiring admission. The Registered Manager will offer the prospective resident and their families an opportunity to visit the home and view it, to come for tea and meet everyone. It is important at this process that there is time allowed to ask questions and needs and preferences discussed as we acknowledge this is big decision to make.

Once admission has been agreed the resident will receive a letter offering the placement and a Service User Guide, detailing all the operational aspects of the home for the resident and family perusal.

Safeguarding

The protection of all vulnerable adults we support is our key priority, this includes any form of abuse and always aim to ensure that best practice and collaborative partnership working in respect of safeguarding is upheld.

The culture of an openness and transparency enables everyone to feel safe and be able to share concerns. We take any concerns about safeguarding seriously and always are available to listen to any expressions of concern about safeguarding. Inspired2care works with the regional adult safeguarding processes and works closely with designated officers at trust level.
